Things Are About To Pick Up For Hazel
The regular season starts on Sunday - Sox and Yankees...and I'm sure Hazel will be anchoring the Sunday Edition of NESN's Sportsdesk (she usually does Sunday to Thursday). What a way to come back from your weekend, to open up the Sox and Yankees. Good luck to you Hazel, here's hoping your karma rubs off on the Sox again this year.

Speaking of the Sox ...sort of. I was checking out the Star www.torontostar.com and saw that the Blue Jays are having a draw for opening night against the Sox. The contest is two win tickets to opening night - and as an added bonus, the winner gets to watch an inning of the game in a private luxury box with Slash (playing national anthems that night). I entered, how cool would it be to win that and invite Hazel to join in Slash's box? Hey...peeps...like I have said before, dare to dream!

The Chickenhawk spoke with Mike and the Maddog in New York today...newsflash - J.P. likes the team...it's the most excited he's been. Again I say...you had better like it J.P. you built it...and your ass should be on the firing line if they finish under 500.

The Celtics Can't Do It...Can They?
Saw that the Celtics won tonight - they ended a four game losing streak...but why do I have a feeling that they are going to make some noise in the playoffs? I know Hazel isn't directly involved with them - their games are on Fox Sports Net...but if those buggers win the conference...or even the whole "shebang" (thats SHUH - BANG...not william hung's SHE BANG)...you gotta think that Hazel's good vibes are rubbing off on that city's sports teams...right?

Ready For Vegas????
Since there isn't much to discuss in the world of sports - I'm going to play poker tomorrow night. Hey, what can I say? I'm hooked on watching poker on t.v. So it's Texas hold 'em tomorrow night - so the blog entry might be a bit later...hahaha...like anyone is waiting with bated breath...
