We're suffering with a man-cold this morning - waking up from a drug-induced coma.

We're down with Red Sox Nation, really (remember yours truly and Tilt are members of Leaf Nation), but how desperate, or dumb, are you if you and lambasting Tito Francona for not benching JD Drew for the likes of Bobby Kielty? Freakin' Bobby Kielty? Come on now, we can understand the Nation calling for Ellsbury to be inserted for Crisp, we can understand Cora for Lugo - but Bobby Kielty for JD Drew? Based on Kielty's "career average vs. Paul Byrd"? Seriously gang, if anyone really thinks that Bobby Kielty would have made a difference - welcome to Leaf Nation...you are as delusional as we are.

Still waiting for Red Sox Nation to wake up and point the finger of blame at Theo Epstein. The number of bad decisions far outweigh the good ones.

Why are fans of the New England Patriots (Quikdraw et al) so pissed about what Patrick Crayton said? He gave Brady and Co. credit and what he said about the D is what many of the experts have questioned about them - age, speed, quickness. Dallas moved the ball on New England - they proved they could score. They'll prove it again in Arizona - count on it. Maybe Patriots' fans are a little hyper-sensitive yeah? Maybe smarting a little from the Red Sox recent woes?

For those of you following (all two of you) Portugal beat the Kazakhstan by a score of 2-1 yesterday - recent call-up Ariza Makukula and Cristiano Ronaldo scored yesterday. Portugal's two budding superstars figured prominently - Quaresma sent up Makukula's goal with a great cross, and Nani set up Ronaldo. We aren't where we want to be right now with this team...but a year of league play for most of these guys should help them as they go into the tournament next summer.

Why is Leaf Nation pointing to this week as a make or break week?
