Monday Six Pack

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae if she is checking in.

Blogger ate our post this morning, so we are posting our suggestions for tonight for those of you looking for them. Apologies for timing.

Chicago over Cincinnati - both teams have been playing well lately, but we are giving the nod to Rich Hill and the Cubs who are trying to hold off the Brewers; ok, it also has to do with the fact we don't trust Rockstar Arroyo. The Cubs get it done tonight. Lay $100 on the Cubs - $140.

Arizona over San Francisco - we'd like to back the Portuguese kid, Kevin Correia, but we couldn't suggest it in good conscience - not against Brandon Webb and the DBacks at home. Lay $100 on the DBacks$220.

Seattle over Oakland - we aren't in the habit of suggesting a play against Dan Haren - especially since he is a Maeple Leaf - but he hasn't been nearly as dominant after the all-star break and Hazel's old pal Miguel Batista has historically pitched very well in Oakland (3-1, 2.25), upset special. Lay $100 on the M's + $145

Los Angeles over Tampa Bay - the Angels are looking to avoid opening the playoffs on the road in Boston, so they'll be looking to finish ahead of the Indians. This one is a bit of a mismatch with Kelvim Escobar going up against Edwin Jackson - this would have been the play of the night, but Escobar's career numbers against the DRays are a little ugly - still though, the Angels get it done. Lay $100 on the Angels - $240.

Atlanta over Florida - Smoltz vs Kim, enough said. Lay $100 on the Braves - $230

Philadelphia -6.5 over Washington - we don't think much of the Chunky Soup lovin', mama's boy McNabb - but we think even less of the Redskins. Can't see Philadelphia opening the season at 0-2 and we can't see the Skins opening 2-0 - we're looking for a blowout tonight. Lay $100 on the Eagles - $115.

That's it for today gang - we'll be back later - thanks for taking the time to check in. Have a great one Peeps.

Hazel, we hope things are groovy in your world.

We're Out!
