Don't be "Lindy" Lou!

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Easter Sunday Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

We won't go on and on about Toronto's win over Montreal last night - because when it is all said and done, it will mean jack squat if the New York Islanders beat the New Jersey Devils today. We'll just say that Paul Maurice summed things up last night when he said "It was what is good in the game."

Which brings us to the Lou Lamoriello and the New Jersey Devils - the talk last night was that the Devils would play backup Scott Clemenson this afternoon against the Islanders. It goes without saying that there will be a lot of bad feelings on the part of Leaf Nation if that comes to pass - we are holding out hope that Devils G Martin Brodeur will ask to play, and win, in order to break a tie for wins registered in a single season (currently jointly held by Brodeur and Luongo).

Lou, don't be a prick like Lindy Ruff - Karma has a way of paying you back for crap like that.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Toronto Maple Leafs Captain Mats Sundin didn't score last night, but he had three assists in leading the Leafs to an exciting 6-5 win over the stinking Habs. If Toronto doesn't make the playoffs - at least we knocked Montreal out.

Red Sox West P Derek Lowe gave up four hits and one run over seven innings as the Dodgers won their second in a row in San Francisco by a count of 4-1.

Chelsea D, and Portugal International, Ricardo Carvalho scored a beauty from 25 yards out in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Tottenham yesterday - bringing Chelsea to within 3 points of Manchester United.

SATURDAY THREE PLAY

We had a good day yesterday - but since we are in a rush this morning, we'll do the totals later.

Dallas over Chicago - the Blackhawks got waxed yesterday by Detroit, no reason to think it won't happen again. Lay $100 on the Stars - $280.

Milwaukee over Chicago - we'll take lefty Chris Capuano today over the Cubbies. Lay $100 on the Brewers - $126.

San Diego over Colorado - pitching mismatch with Peavy going against Cook. Its expensive, but lay $100 on the Padres - $190.

Detroit over Kansas City - we'll go with Bonderman over Duckworth. Lay $100 on the Tigers - $170.

That's it for today gang - gotta head off to Easter Sunday mass...is it blasphemous to ask THE big guy for a Devils win today?

KEEPING HAZEL UP ON WHAT'S WHAT IN TORONTO

Hazel can pick and choose if she's checking in this morning.

The Star

The Sun

Riddle me this - How does Mike Zeisberger confuse Belfour and Brodeur? In the Sun today, Zeisberger's headline includes reference to Belfour...how did Sun let that go through?

HAZEL'S EASTER SUNDAY HOROSCOPE

Be careful while traveling or dealing with authority figures. Someone may change something that will leave you in the lurch. Concentrate on finding out all you can about a situation or a place you want to travel to before doing so. 5 stars

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world - here's hoping your celebration was a memorable one.

Song of the Day on Hazelspeeps - for the Montreal Canadiens and their fans (are you reading JOHNNY???) who will undoubtedly be whining about calls in last night's game - forgetting they have gotten away with more than their fair share.

HEY HEY HEY GOODBYE - Who in the hell knows who? The Bell Centre retards sing it.

Na na na na
Na na na na
HEY HEY HEY
GOODBYE

Peesth Out...Buh Bye!
