Must Win Tonight At The Hanger

There isn't much to say today in terms of what the Toronto Maple Leafs are facing tonight at the ACC. While the Maple Leafs are saying that they are approaching tonight's game like any other on the schedule, they are undoubtedly aware of what has been happening with teams they are chasing - Carolina won last night in Washington; and as we type this, the Rangers are beating the Penguins. The team may not be saying it, but Leaf Nation is thinking it...it is a must win, both in terms of keeping up with the Rangers and Canes, but more importantly for the morale boost that would be provided by beating your biggest rival. We're expecting the Leafs to come up big tonight and pull out a win...with the help of Hazel Karma of course.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Dallas Stars G Marty Turco stopped all 30 shots directed at him in a 3-0 victory over Columbus yesterday - it was only Columbus, but a good result for a guy who has been struggling a bit lately.

Minnesota Wild third-string G Josh Harding made 35 saves yesterday in a 5-1 win over the Sabres in Buffalo - Leaf Nation would gladly take this guy as our backup.

Vancouver Canucks G Roberto Luongo made 25 saves in a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks - how good was the Luongo for Bertuzzi trade?


SATURDAY THREE PLAY
Another 2-0 night yesterday to boost the total for the week to + $300. Two suggestions for tonight.

Nashville over Columbus - no explanation needed on this one. Lay $100 on the Preds - $320

NY Islanders over Washington - Can't see the Isles dropping this one tonight...Lay $50 on the Isles - $270.
