Quick Hits

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Well, you know what's on our mind this morning - the Maple Leafs led by Andrew Raycroft shutout the Caps last night by a score of 3-0. Darcy Tucker, Alexei Ponikarovsky and Yanic Perreault scored for the good guys.

The Bruins dropped a 2-0 decision to the Avalanche in a game where Avs goalie Peter Budaj picked up the shutout - didn't we call for him to come up big yesterday?

The Ottawa SenaTards blew a three goal lead in the span of 2:30 in the 3rd period last night before falling 5-4 to the Penguins in a shooutout - this was the third time in as many games that Ottawa has blown leads of two goals or more...all in the third period. Three Cheers for Ottawa!

The little team that could suffered an unjust result yesterday in London - Porto fell 2-1 to Chelsea, the New York Yankees of European Football. Porto outplayed the Blues for most of the game, but caught a bad break when their goaltender Helton flubbed a shot from 30 yards out - they deserved a better fate.

We'll do Hazel's Three Stars and the Three Play Later - I'll see if I can email my man Tilt the entry later this morning for him to post (he's got GREAT internet access at work).

HAZEL'S WEDNESDAY HOROSCOPE
You may feel pulled in too many directions today. Decide what you really want to do and follow through. Although you could probably manage everything, why stress yourself out unnecessarily? Leave time for pleasure. 3 stars

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world.
