On A Roll????

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

We have to think that Hazel is smiling this morning; the Maple Leafs beat the Carolina Hurricanes by a score of 4-3 last night to record their second win in as many games. While the Maple Leafs aren't out of the woods by any stretch - Leaf Nation will take the two wins and get ready for tonight's game against the Rangers. Hazel Karma? I'll let you be the judge.

Not much to post this morning - so I'll get right to the "What's What".

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Toronto Maple Leafs C Mats Sundin scored two goals and added an assist in last night's win over the Hurricanes. Some members of Leaf Nation were calling for Sundin to be traded after the recent winless streak. One question, "Where would this team be without him?" Come on Toronto, give the guy a break - he has done enough for the organization to be able to call his own shot.

Washington Capitals' RW Alexander Ovechkin scored all three Caps' goals in a 3-2 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers. Ovechkin is a bit of a loose cannon - but I'd have him on my team. Wait, I DO have him on my team - Hazel's Maeple Leafs - so its all good.

Pittsburgh Penguins LW Ryan Malone also had a hat-trick last night in a 7-4 victory over the NY Islanders - he must have been playing with Crosby last night.

Apologies to those checking in yesterday to see Friday's picks - blogger wasn't cooperating, so I couldn't get the picks up. For those keeping track, after another 3-0 night, we are + $500 for the week.
