Happy Victoria Day

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special unofficial start to the summer "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

A national holiday up here today as we celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday - Canadians look to this weekend as the beginning of summer. Speaking of celebrating, Edmonton Oiler fans are euphoric after the Oilers won game 2 last night in Anaheim. The Ducks had not lost two games in a row in the 2006 playoffs - they picked the worst possible time to start this little streak.

The Sabres and Hurricanes face off in game 2 of their series today - while my predictions in the Conference Finals have been terrible, I'm going to pick the Canes' to tie things up tonight.
