There is absolutely no point in going on about the Maple Leafs/Sabres game last night - Toronto was terrible and deserved the beatdown they got. No point in talking about it, I'd come off sounding like I was auditioning for the 2008 Whiney Awards - on second thought...

The only silver lining in the black cloud that his the Toronto Maple Leafs of late is that Montreal and Carolina both lost to remain within striking distance.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
New York Rangers G Henrik Lundqvist stopped all nineteen shots he faced in 4-0 shutout of the Canadiens.

New Jersey Devils G Martin Brodeur made 31 saves last night in a 1-0 shutout win over Sid the Kid and the Penguins.

Tards C Jason Spezza had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 victory over the Hurricanes - we are making an exception today for the Tards.

WEDNESDAY THREE PLAY
We were 3-0 last night bringing our two day total for this week up to $250. We'll be back later with our picks.
