Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in today. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Quick post this morning - word from Long Island yesterday that the Islanders had fired new hired GM Neil Smith after only 40 days on the job and replaced him with goalie Garth Snow - that's right, the Islanders promoted their goalie (who interviewed for the job this summer) to the role of General Manager. The fallout was that Pat (La La La La) Lafontaine resigned as the team's Senior Advisor - he hadn't been on the job much longer. Somewhere, Harold Ballard has got to be looking down (or up) at this mess and smiling.

Ok peeps - I'm out. I'm on my way to Toronto to see the Jays - look for me in the stands with my circa 1981 Los Angeles Dodgers Pedro Guerrero jersey. You know I'm going to be booing Hinske tonight.
