Last Day Of Opening Round

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Teams in Groups G and H play their final game today...with three positions for the round of 16 still available. Spain has already booked their place in the knockout round - with the remaining seven teams having a chance to make it...well maybe 6, since the Saudis are not likely to beat Spain.

On to today's games

Saudi Arabia 0 - 3 Spain - no explanation needed here.

Ukraine 2 - 1 Tunisia - in a word...Shevchenko. Ukraine has him...Tunisia doesn't.

Switzerland 1 - 1 South Korea - the Swiss advance with a tie, they'll keep things tight against the Koreans.

Togo 0 - 3 France - the French luck their way into the round of 16...
