Upset Tuesday

Isn't it fitting that another Weird and Whacked Wednesday starts off with a bunch of upsets from Tuesday night? Tuesday was underdog night in the NHL - the Maple Leafs beat the Flyers by a score of 3 - 2. The SenaTards dropped a 3 - 2 shootout decision to the New Jersey Devils last night and the Habs beat the Islanders 2 - 0. So all the Leafs accomplished last night was worsening their position in this year's entry draft.

From Europe - what has be to considered an upset - Benfica of Lisbon held Spanish giants Barcelona to a 0 - 0 draw at the Estadio da Luz (didn't I predict it? didn't I say Benfica would play for an away goal?). The second leg of the tie goes in two weeks at the Nou Camp in Barcelona. Inter Milan (sans Luis Figo) welcomes Villareal from Spain today.
