Leafs Win!!! Habs Lose...Bruins Blow It Again

Hey Peeps, and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

For those of you checking in to see this week's winners of the Hazies - I apologize for not having gotten to them yet; maybe tomorrow night, its been a long couple of days here.

So for a while tonight - it looked like Hazel Karma was in full force. The Leafs were beating the Canes, the Habs were losing to the Islanders and the Thrashers were down 2 goals to the Bruins - the Leafs and the Islanders kept up their end of the deal; the Bruins blew another third period lead...this time a 2 goal lead.

Going into the back to back with Montreal this week - the Leafs are three points back of the Habs and trail the Thrashers by two. Montreal looks like they are going to fade right out of the race...they seem lost without Jose Theodore (aka here as Cy Sperling). Mikael Tellqvist wins back to back games and looks good doing it - this bodes well for Toronto from here on in. Hazel, Leaf Nation needs your help this week...we have to win both games against Montreal.

More NFL shockers - Adam Vinatieri leaves the Patriots for the Indianapolis Dolts (yes I said dolts). While I am not suggesting that Vinatieri is going to wind up regretting the move (the money was VERY good for him) - he is going to see the difference between playing for/with winners like Belichick and Brady vs losers like Dungy and Manning. While a lot of people wanted to crap all over Dallas Cowboys kicker Mike Vanderjagt (did I say Dallas Cowboys? I meant New England Patriots...I mean...you get the drift) after the Steelers game - the blame should rest squarely with Manning...he didn't get the job done. I said after the Steelers game that when Vanderjagt missed the kick - Manning was smiling like he knew Vanderjagt was gone. Vanderjagt was pretty much money in the bank for Indianapolis - his biggest crime was to call Manning out for what he was - "not a winner"... a guy couldn't win the big one. Pretty much what Terrell Owens did with McNabb - he told the truth. Vanderjagt is going to look good in a Dallas uniform.

I'm going to call it a night here...some admin stuff to do on Yahoo site. Have a great one peeps.

Hazel I hope things are groovy in your world...in case you were wondering - things are unseasonably cold up here this spring.

Song of the Day on Hazelspeeps - for the Leafs beating the Canes after losing to the Isles a few nights ago, for the way Bronson Arroyo must be feeling, for how Patriots fans must be feeling -

Upside Down - Jack Johnson

Peesth Out!
