Boston Bids Bronson Bye Bye

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

The day after the trade and the talk heats up - Dennis and Callahan are all over this one, with their weak version of point/counter-point. Today's skit sees John Dennis putting it all on Arroyo for being "naive" and not taking the good advice of his agents when he signed the contact. Dennis is absolving the Red Sox Front Office of an unethical dealings or practives - Callahan must have lost the coin flip when they wrote this one up yesterday, he is arguing that Sox Management owed Arroyo more after this winter's contract negotiation. I still think this starts and finishes with Epstein re-establishing his control over the baseball side of the operation - by trading Jed and Ben's big off-season signing.

In other baseball news, Japan won the WBC. I know nobody in the U.S. gave a rat's rear about the tournament - but good for Japan.

After a couple of days of digesting the signing - I'm ok with the Cowboys signing Terrell Owens. Would Terrell have been my first choice? Absolutely not - but his signing puts Dallas in position to compete for the NFC Championship - if anyone can reign Terrell in, it's Parcells.
