A Chip & A Chair Gives You A Chance

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Last night was week 4 of the tournament - good night, 1 bad beat cost me the game last night; but it was a good night. A chip and a chair could apply to the Maple Leafs situation right now, they beat Pittsburgh last night (1 - 0) on a penalty shot goal by Chad Kilger (yes, Chad Kilger took a penalty shot - go figure) . Two games against Montreal will pretty much determine their fate this week. The Leafs, Islanders, Thrashers and Habs are all in the hunt for that last playoff spot.

Plenty of surprises on the first weekend of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament - George Mason (11th seed in the East) beat defending Champs North Carolina, while Bradley (13th seed in the West) beat Pittsburgh to advance to the Sweet 16 - a chip and a chair.

I won't even get into the World Baseball Classic - because I keep hearing that no one cares. I guess the "no one cares" applies to everyone but the players who took part in the tournament and baseball fans outside of North America.
