Goodbye Torino - Welcome Back NHL

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

So Canada closes the books on our best ever showing at the Olympic Games - 24 medals, with five of them coming from speed skater Cindy Klassen. While Canadians will undoubtedly be talking about the record setting performance of both Cindy and the Olympic Team, the real question that needs to be asked is - does anyone care? Is speed skating going to take off in Canada? Doubtful, it will fade back into relative obsecurity. Will kids across the country be taking up cross country skiing? Not when its freaking minus 30 out there. So we'll all be proud for a few days, we'll see Cindy doing a few McCain commercials, a McDonalds' commercial and maybe a milk commercial; Hailey still has the Hamburger Helper deal going. Hey, I hear Alexander Keith's is looking for a new spokesperson...haha

The NHL is back...with plenty of questions. In the land of the SenaTards, none more important than - when will Hasek be back? Rumblings are that the injury is more serious than is being let on - all this talk of "going with Emery"...would they be talking like that if Hasek was going to be back soon? Hmmm I might have to have a peek at Eklund's site.

Ok, I've gotta book. Have a great one peeps. Keep checking back in...A surprise is coming this week.

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world - if you are checking in...things are about to get a hell of a lot more interesting on this page. That's all I'm going to say for now.
