Today is a day for the big boys:

• Barcelona is in London to play Chelsea (aka Portuguese National Team North) in the first leg of the round of 16 in Champions League - it is a shame that one of these teams has to exit at this stage;
  
  
• Canada plays Russia in the quarter-finals of the Olympic Hockey Tournament - hard to imagine a medal round without both Canada and Russia. Questions are going to be asked of the vanquished today; (Canada wins 4 - 3) and
  
  
• The Swedes take on the Swiss - the mean, nasty, fightin' bad mad and disrespected Swiss (Sweden wins 4 - 1).

Speaking of Giants - Manny Ramirez has provided the boys (and girls) in Boston with plenty to talk about. Last night it was Mike Adams, who was all over Manny for being a spoiled $20M/year crybaby. This morning Dennis and Callahan are talking about Manny - they must have been up all night scripting this one. Its good cop/bad cop this morning on WEEI - weak if you ask me.
