Cindy Klassen

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae on this last day of the Torino Olympics.

Whether you are following the Olympics or not - you have to give it up for Cindy Klassen. The Canadian speed skater leaves Torino with FIVE medals - 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze. She will be carrying the flag for Canada at the closing ceremonies...she should be getting plenty of endorsement deals this summer. Good for her.

I have another Erin Nicks rant - funny, last night on the yahoo site, I asked put a question to the peeps, about whether or not they could watch their favourite players play for other countries at the WBC - and whether or not they could accept players from other teams dawning their jersey (U.S.)... Well, I open up today's Sun to see Erin talking about just that. At the best of times she's a mouthpiece for the SenaTards (doing the cool girl act) at the worst of times - she uninformed, provocative, and just plain dumb. Today she answered my question - Erin's priorities are Stanley Cup first, Olympic Gold second - that these players should be more interested in winnign a Stanley Cup for the city they are living in temporarily vs. winning a Gold medal for their country...how this woman gets paid for writing this dreck is beyond me - more later.

Nearing the end of the second period - Swedes and Finns tied 2 - 2. Didn't I tell you the Finns would win the gold?

Ok, gotta book peeps - have a great one.
