Buckeyes Deserve An "F"

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

They saved the worst for last - the BCS Championship Game was a dud (worse than most Super Bowls) with the underdog Florida Gators humiliating Heismann Trophy Winner Troy Smith's Ohio State Buckeyes. Smith was another in a long line of Heisman Trophy winners who fail to show up for their last game of the season.

The Tards welcome the Bruins (sadly sans Hazel) to town tonight. The Ottawa media seems to be more focused on the Bruins than their own SenaTards - with talking centered around "which Tim Thomas are the Tards going to see?" and the likelihood of Zdeno Chara playing. The Ottawa media has been taking pot shots at Chara over the last week or so - still smarting from his decision to sign a contract with the Bruins that was worth $5M more than the Tards were offering. The Ottawa media and the "Sens Army" still think Chara should have sucked it up and taken much less money to stay here and try to win a Stanley Cup. I'm with Chara - take the damn money (the Tards aren't much better than the Bruins right now) - take the extra $5M, with the added bonus of getting to hang out with Hazel. It was a no brainer.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Florida's Chris Leak looked more like the Heismann Trophy winner last night as he played a near flawless game. Leak finished the night going 25/36 for 216 yards and a TD - he managed a good game.

Vancouver's Roberto Luongo and L.A.'s Mathieu Garon earned stars last night for their respective performances in last night's game. The Oilers beat the Kings 2-1 in overtime last night in a game that was dominated by both goalies.


TUESDAY THREE PLAY
We start the week off - $35 after going 1-1 last night. Luckily for us College Football is over and we can get back to hockey.

Atlanta over Montreal - the Habs are in a funk and have a number of players suffering from the flu. Lay $50 on Atlanta + $115.

Columbus over St. Louis - the Jackets are playing a bit better, especially at home. Lay $75 on Columbus - $130.

Dallas over Phoenix - It is time the Coyotes came back to earth - Dallas will bring them back tonight. Lay $75 on the Stars - $170.
