Thursday Night Football

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

The Cincinnati Bengals pull off a big win against Baltimore last night to stay in the playoff mix in the AFC - they could be a factor. From what I hear, the NFL had a fairly busy schedule last night...but we really don't want to talk about it this morning - we'll let Hazel deliver the NHL news; I'm sure you'd rather hear it from her anyways.

Cincinnati's WR T.J. Houshmanzadeh had 10 catches for 106 yards and a TD. T.J. made a number of 3rd down receptions to keep drives alive as Cincinnati consistently moved the ball and kept Baltimore deep in their own territory. Honourable mention goes to Carson Palmer who was 21/32 for 234 yards and a TD.

Anaheim goalie J.S. Giguere stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Ducks 2-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. This one hurts a little because Renee has Giggy in the pool and I've got Bryzgalov (who is riding the pines right now).

Phoenix Coyotes forward Ladislav Nagy had a goal and three assists in a 7-4 win over the Kings. I know it wasn't exactly the game of the night - but if a Coyotes' player does something...don't you think Hazel would throw them a bone?

Sorry gang, another 2-1 night nets us all of $5 - leaving our balance sheet for the week at - $215. We'll go at it again tonight...we'll get that total down and headed towards the black soon enough.

Calgary over Columbus - Calgary is better in every facet of the game, this is a no brainer. Lay $75 on the Flames - $260.

Buffalo over NY Rangers - the Sabres have been up and down lately...but these last few days off should be enough to help them gets their heads on straight. They'll be charging out of the gate tonight against the Ranger. Lay $50 on Buffalo - $180

We'll leave it at that for now - those we reserve the right to post another pick before 6:00 p.m. EDT.

You've got a chance to set the record straight, get ahead or convince someone of something. Love, romance, intrigue and adventure can be yours. A trip or function will bring you in contact with other charismatic people. 3 stars

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world - have a great weekend.

Song of the Day on Hazelspeeps - a song to get your blood pumping on a Friday morning
