NFL Thursday

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

I still haven't made my picks in the spreads pool - I'll figure something out during the day I guess. I'd ask for suggestions and picks, but the damn firewall at work won't let me access blogspot - go figure; they'll let people send stupid videos through email...but you can't access a website that may or may not have the F bomb on it. Why am I telling you this? Because it was a SLOW night in the NHL last night, and nothing really worth talking about - well, there was the Flyers loss, while all Flyers' losses are great they have become predictable.

Maple Leafs are in Atlanta tonight - still looking for some Hazel Karma.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
The future Captain of the Portuguese National Team, Cristiano Ronaldo, scored the first goal in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Everton. Ya, we think Hazel doesn't do soccer - but if you have read this page before, you know the rule when a "Lusitano" makes news...editor's choice.

Chicago's Tuomo Rutuu scores with 1:49 in the third period to give the Blackhawks a 2-1 victory over the Dallas Stars. It messed up yesterday's three play, but you have to applaud the stinkin' Blackhawks for winning one.

Nashville's Martin Erat scored the winner for the Predators in a 3-2 win over the Flyers.


THURSDAY THREE PLAY
We had a tough night last night going 1-2 and going $105 into the red - leaving our balance sheet for the week at - $230. We'll get it back, starting tonight.

Cincinnati -3 over Baltimore - Carson Palmer is looking like the Palmer of last year, and Baltimore is due to drop one - might as well be tonight. Lay $75 on the Bengals.

Edmonton over Colorado - the Oilers have been playing great lately, even with the loss to Pronger and the Ducks. Lay $ 75 on the Oilers - $165.

Ottawa over Florida - I'm not going to talk about the SenaTards - they'll win...much to my chagrin. Lay $50 on the Tards - $320.
