Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

I should mention that our girl Renee checked in last night with her thoughts from the past week. Scroll down after you read tonight's entry to see what's on Renee's mind - she has a challenge for our readers...check it out and take her up on it. Note: Renee affectionately (I'd like to think) refers to yours truly as "Prez".

Watching last night's game between the Seahawks and the Packers was like watching idiots driving around without winter tires after the first snowfall. Seattle gets 201 yards rushing from Shaun Alexander and survives Matt Hasselbeck's disasterous first half to beat the pathetic Packers. So long Brett.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Seattle's Shaun Alexander rushed for 201 yards on 40 carries last night. We'll see if last night's performance was enough to win it for Hazel Mae's Cowboys in the yahoo pool.

Detroit's Nick Lidstrom had a goal in a win over the Dallas Stars. If you are a regular reader, you'll know that Nick is a member of Hazel's Maeple Leafs.

New Jersey's Patrick Elias had a goal in a losing cause against the Los Angeles Kings. Elias is a teammate of Lidstrom's on the Maeple Leafs.

TUESDAY THREE PLAY
Tough night last night - the Seahawks could only recover enough to push against the Packers and the Devils dropped one in Los Angeles last night, leaving our balance sheet for the week (starting yesterday) at - $125 . Still way up on the year, as we came into this week at + $715 over the first four weeks (I just like to keep mentioning that). Back to the winners tonight.

Toronto over Boston - Maple Leafs get back on track tonight with a win over the Bruins, they'll split the mini-series. Lay $50 on Toronto - $200.

San Jose over St. Louis - the Blues are inconsistent, the Sharks aren't. San Jose has had a couple of brain cramps already this year...tonight won't be another. Lay $50 on San Jose - $185.

Washington over Tampa Bay - I like the Caps goaltending in this one. Its just a hunch, so we'll just lay $30 on the Caps + $175.
