Well the SenaTards dropped another one last night - they'll be calling for Martin Gerber's head this morning. Montreal dropped five on Gerber and the Tards last night in a 6-3 victory - dropping the Tards to 6-10-1, though Tards faithful will tell you its still early. I'm not buying it, this team is not a contender to win the Cup - they are a middle of the pack team without Chara. This member of Leaf Nation is loving the start these clowns are off to.

Carolina was in danger of being put in the category of NFL Pretenders, pulled out a win over Chuckie and the Bucs after an awful first half. I still don't think anyone in the NFC is shaking in their boots over the Panthers.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS

Guillame (GUY-OHM) Latendresse scored two goals in a win over the SenaTards. Honourable mention goes to Critobal Huet who stopped 36 of 39 shots.

Derek Roy of the Buffalo Sabres had a goal an assist as the Sabres upped their record to 15-1-1 with a 7-4 victory over the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes.

Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers (and Hazel Mae's Cowboys) caught 8 passes for 149 yards and a TD.
