Saturday Morning Quickie

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Not much to say this morning - baseball making news today.

The New York Yankees announced that they traded Gary Sheffield for three minor league prospects - can you say big mistake?

ESPN is reporting that the Boston Red Sox won the bidding war to sign Japanese pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka - can you say bigger mistake? If this is true, Theo Epstein needs a good old fashioned beatdown.

Tonight in the NHL - Leafs and Canadiens and the Tards visit Hazel in Boston to play the Bruins.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 37 shots leading Calgary to a 3-0 shutout win over the Ducks - Anaheim's first regulation loss of the season.

Ryan Smyth scored two goals to lead the strugging Edmonton Oilers to a 4-1 win over the sad-sack Columbus Blue Jackets.

Michael Nylander had two goals and an assist to lead the Rangers to a 5-2 victory over the high flying Atlanta Thrashers.

We'll do the three play later - but we had another great night Friday, going 3-0 and adding $100 to the balance sheet - now +$500. Have a great one peeps!

HAZEL'S SATURDAY HOROSCOPE

You will impress everyone you meet with your high energy and ability to get things done. A trip will pay off in what you learn. Someone you hook up with will get you thinking about your personal life and what needs to change. 5 stars

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world - remember, bad karma to the SenaTards if you go to the game tonight.
