Duck Hunting

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

The Buffalo Sabres took a 2-1 series lead last night with a 4-3 victory over the Hurricanes - Daniel Briere lead the Sabres with two goals last night. The Hurricanes pulled rookie Cam Ward last night - it will be interesting to see how he reacts in game 4...looks like it is going to be a Buffalo/Edmonton Final.

The Oilers look to advance to the Stanley Cup finals with a win over the Anaheim Ducks tonight. The Ducks said all the right things on Tuesday night - the "one game, one shift at a time", "backs up against the wall", "we just have to stick together and give it all we've got" cliches - but the series is over...likely tonight. The Ducks were understandably dejected when their comeback felt short on Tuesday night - the Oilers go duck hunting and put Anaheim out of their misery tonight.

Speaking of ducks...lame ducks

Matt Clement of the Sox was pounded last night by the Yankees, the line on Clement was downright ugly;

Josh Towers of the Blue Jays was roughed up by the Devils Rays last night - the result of his latest effort was a loss and a trip to Syracuse.

Don't ask about poker last night - I finished 5th in the tournament (and out of the money).

More later...some "interesting" things happening in the world of sports. Have a great one peeps.
