Make Or Break Weekend

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Most of you probably don't care - but for those of us who are members of Leaf Nation, this is a make or break weekend for us; with games against the Sabres and the SenaTards. The Buds could come out of the weekend being buyers or sellers - here's hoping for the former. Talk out of Toronto is that Bryan McCabe could be on the block; they had better get him signed.

Paul Tagliabue describe the negotiations session between the NFL owners and the NFL Players Association "dire". "Dire" with a $94 million salary cap...I'll let you mull that over today.

Listening to WEEI this morning...Dennis and Callahan are talking about the NFL salary cap and the possible implications of not having a cap - they are comparing a "cap-less" NFL to MLB (Yankees and Sox)...they were actually laughing at the situation of the Marlins. Granted the Marlis are a disaster and essentially a minor league team now...but they have win two World Series - which is more than a lot of teams could say. They are on to celebrating Coco Crisp now - the starting centre fielder for the American League in this year's All-Star game...right?
