Red Hot Wednesday

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in today. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

The Leafs beat the Thrashers last night to widen the gap between themselves and the Habs and Bruins. As has become the norm, the game was pretty chippy with some questionable hits being thrown - look for this one to escalate.

Names are being thrown about in the Rick Tocchet story - Janet Gretzky being the most prominent. I saw a clip of Gretzky being interviewed about this whole thing, a reporter asked him about reports that his wife was named as one of the people placing bets with the group Tocchet is allegedly associated with - he looked like he was about to break down. Gretzky tried to gloss over it by saying he didn't know anything about that...that the reporter should ask Janet herself (the inevitable question will be - where would she get the money to gamble?). It was kinda sad...expect the Gretzkys to be the focal point of today's coverage. This is gonna get ugly...

I turned on WEEI this morning - they are going hard at Janet Jones. Wow, Boston media can be freakin harsh - they aren't talking about her alleged gambling...they are laughing at her film career. Ouch! They are going on to speculate on who the hollywood celebrities could be - they are throwing around the name of one of the most famous Red Sox fans - it wasn't J-Lo.

I gotta get on outta here and get my can to work...have a great one peeps!
