Friday's Three Play

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in for today’s Three Play suggestions.

The winning percentage has been good this week – though it isn’t reflected on the balance sheet. Despite having a few 2-1 nights and a 1-2 night, we are pretty much even for the week so far…+ $25 if you want to get specific about things. So we’ll go with three more tonight.

Oakland over Tampa Bay – Oakland’s Dan Haren has given his team a chance to win every time out – the same can’t be said for Casey Fossum. Haren’s sparkling ERA will take a hit tonight…but we think he’ll keep the DRays in check. Lay $100 on the A’s - $150.

Detroit over Kansas City – Justin Verlander is 4-0 with a 1.36 ERA against the Royals, good enough for us to say go with the fireballer. Lay $100 on the Tigers - $170.

Chicago over Washington – we like “the big Z” (he refers to himself as the big Z) against Jason Bergmann and the Nationals. The Nationals haven’t given Bergmann any run support and we don’t see it changing this afternoon. Lay $100 on the Cubs - $190.

We’ll wade in later this afternoon with a pick in the NHL tonight – we’re leaning towards the Sharks right now…but we’ll see.

KEEPING HAZEL UP ON WHAT’S WHAT IN TORONTO

Ticket prices at the ACC are going up

JFJ keeping eye on prospect at Worlds

You don’t know Doug Beeforth – but you should – Hazel probably does

Chacin should be back “soon” – ah huh

Frank sees positives – we won’t say “10 million”

The Tomo Ohka you never knew

That’s about it for today gang – have a great one.

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world.

Peesth Out…Buh Bye!
