Rednecks vs Roughnecks

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Gord Miller of TSN called it last night when the Hurricanes sealed the win against the Sabres - "It'll be the Rednecks against the Roughnecks". Carolina beat a depleted Buffalo team last night by a score of 4-2, thus advancing to the Stanley Cup final to meet the Oilers. Buffalo has to be given a lot of credit for the way they played; they went into last night's game without four regular defencemen and missing a couple of guys up front - missing Tim Connelly definitely hurt Buffalo. We'll talk Stanley Cup this weekend.

We'll start breaking down the World Cup this weekend - I think I might be able to provide a little be better analysis and insight that Tom Timmerman of the St. Louis Post Dispatch.
