Canadians Will Be Watching Intently Tonight

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

The poster children for the new NHL, the Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes face off tonight in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals for the right to meet the Edmonton Oilers for the Stanley Cup. I've said all along that Buffalo is a team of destiny, they have overcome injuries to one of the best forwards, a couple of defencemen and they keep winning. I'm going to say 4-3 tonight (likely in O/T).

So, how do you like Roger Clemens now? While members of Red Sox Nation have been quick to say that "those close to Roger say he didn't want to hurt the fans in New England and New York by picking one over the other" - I say, get real. When has anyone ever known Roger Clemens to be so sensitive? I think Roger relishes being the villain, I think he played up his interest in New York and Boston to up that salary - Roger has always been a "me first" kinda guy, and that's ok, but please don't say he put that much thought into the signing. It was all about the money.
