Thursday Night Suggestions

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special “Hey” goes out to Hazel Mae if she is checking in.

Due to being in the midst of a crazy, stupid, busy day – we’re only checking in to post tonight’s suggestions for the Three Play. Thankfully our man Quikdraw has you covered on all things “Boston sports” – particularly the Hot Stove season for Red Sox Nation. We’ll check in over the weekend with a few things for you to mull over and consider.

We’ll also be looking to those of you who check in for the Three Play for your help with making a pick for this week’s NFL suicide pool – details and a request for your suggestion to come later tonight or tomorrow morning.

We’re even for the week, which amounts to Tuesday’s suggestions. We’ll have you going into your weekend on the plus side with tonight’s picks.

OTTAWA over Atlanta – the Thrashers have been playing better of late, but they are still a below average hockey team – not good when you are playing a good (ugh) team chomping at the bit to get back on the ice after an eight day layoff. Lay $100 on the Tards - $300

MINNESOTA over St. Louis – the Wild have cooled off after a blistering start to the season – they’re banged up right now, but they are still lights out at home and have more than enough to beat the Blues who have lost nine of their last eleven to the Wild. Lay $100 on the Wild - $170.

NY RANGERS over Washington – the Caps could be missing two of their top scorers tonight, not good when you are facing a Rangers team that is starting to pull things together. Caps have lost their last six at MSG – lucky/unlucky seven tonight? We think so. Lay $100 on the Rangers - $200.

Buffalo over BOSTON – We’re not sold on the Bruins, especially not when they are playing a speed team. The Sabres, though not as explosive as last year, have too much speed and will expose the Bruins defence tonight. Lay $100 on the Sabres - $115.

Philadelphia over MONTREAL – two teams we love to hate. What you should know about this matchup is that it has historically been a visitor’s series. No matter how good or bad these teams have been – the visiting team always seems to win. Lay $100 on the Flyers + $105.

That’s it for today gang – thanks for taking the time to check in. Special thanks to Tilt for posting. Have a great one peeps!

Hazel, we hope things are groovy in your world.

We’re Out!
