Sunday Six Pack

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "NFL Sunday Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae, who may or may not be spending today on the couch in her PJs.

We're posting picks today - we'll recap the weekend later...suffice it to say we aren't happy.

The total for the week, after a 3-0 night is + $825; for those of you who followed the Three Play last year, you know on Sunday's we pick early games and check back in around 3:00 pm for the afternoon game. Today's suggestions:

Minnesota over Chicago - you have to think Twins ace Johan Santana will put an end to the losing streak today against the White Sox and Jon Garland - they won't get swept in Chicago. Lay $100 on the Twins - $140.

Boston over Baltimore - After getting smoked yesterday, the Sox should respond with Josh Beckett on the mound; Boston wins easily today. Lay $100 on the Sox - $180.

Milwaukee over Cincinnati - Ben Sheets gets the nod of Reds P Dumatrait who is going through growing pains - Brewers need the game and they'll get it. Lay $100 on Milwaukee - $165.

Houston over Kansas City - as we said earlier this week, Chiefs get no luv here anymore (not until Hazel publicly states she is still a Chiefs fan). Houston will be better with Schaub at QB and they get the nod today. Lay $100 on the Texans -3 (-$125).

Pittsburgh over Cleveland - the Steelers have gotten better and the Browns have gotten worse (if that is possible), can't see the Browns staying in this one. Lay $100 on the Steelers -5.

St. Louis over Carolina - The Panthers have a lot of question marks coming into the season, the Rams have some - but they are a different team at home. Lay $100 on the Rams -1.
