Our afternoon started out well with the Angels winning and the Yankees leading until the top of the 7th – should have listened to our gut before suggesting the Yankees today. Ok, after splitting the afternoon, the total stands at - $215 (the Yankees were - $220 today). So tonight’s suggestions are

Atlanta over St. Louis – the Cardinals have been riding Albert Pujols’ bat since the all-star break, but we like Tim Hudson to silence the big guy tonight. Lay $100 on the Braves - $180.

Florida over Cincinnati – we like Florida to bounce back against Matt Belisle after being shut out by the Cardinals last night; expect an offensive explosion tonight. Lay $100 on the Marlins - $160.

Cleveland over Texas – it has been suggested that a team playing the first game of a road trip usually does well - considering C.C. Sabathia was pounded in his last start, we expect him to respond with a good outing tonight. Lay $100 on Cleveland - $160.

Boston over Chicago – as bad as the Sox have been, you have to think they’ll break out of it against Javier Vasquez whose career numbers against Boston aren’t very good. Dice-K is the play tonight. Lay $100 on the Sox - $220.
