We're skating out the door this morning - so a look back at last night and a look forward to tonight's action.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Detroit Tigers OF Magglio Ordonez hit two solo HRs in an 8-7 win over the Angels - one of the big reasons the Maeple Leafs are in first place in the yahoo pool.

Washington Nationals LF Ryan Church also had two HRs and drove in six runs to power the Nats to an 12-7 win over the Reds...so much for our suggested play on the Reds last night.

Red Sox West P Brad Penny shutout the Brewers over seven innings yesterday to lead the Dodgers to a 5-1 win; Penny gave up six hits and two walks while striking out four.

We have to add a fourth today...or my girl "B" will be all over me.

A.C. Milan Striker Filippo Inzaghi scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Liverpool in the Champions League final in Athens yesterday.


THURSDAY THREE PLAY
Another night where we split the picks and wind up in the red - this time $130 as both our big favourites lost - we hate the state of Ohio now. Our total for the week stands at an ugly - $195.

Florida over Philadelphia - we'll take Dontrelle Willis over Jon Lieber in a game that should feature a lot of runs. Lay $100 on the Marlins - $120

San Diego over Chicago - we still don't think much of Jason Marquis, so we're going with a guy we like (grudgingly because he is a Padre) Chris Young. Lay $100 on the Padres - $135.

Cleveland over Kansas City - this is more about us thinking Cleveland won't get swept, than any faith we have in Sowers. I know...risky strategy. Lay $100 on the Indians - $130.

Detroit over Los Angeles - We'll take Bonderman over Santana. Lay $100 on the Tigers - $160.
