So You're Going To Do It The Hard Way Huh?

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

The Maple Leafs dropped a tough one last night to the Canadiens, meaning they are going to have to pick up points this week against two of the Eastern Conferences three division leaders. Andrew Raycroft had a tough game between the pipes last night - he couldn't seem to stop anything from the 10 min mark of the first period until the end of the second. Toronto's defence allowed Montreal's forwards to dictate the pace of the game last night, backing in and letting the Habs gain the zone all night. What was most surprising was that Montreal was the more physical team last night. Well, we could complain for pages here - but that won't do any good; Toronto has to respond against Buffalo tonight, period.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Calgary Flames C Wayne Primeau had two goals in a 5-2 victory ove the Phoenix Coyotes last night - if I'm not mistaken, they might be his first in a Flames uniform.

Anaheim Ducks G Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 40 shots in a 3-2 win over the San Jose Sharks.

Atlanta Thrashers LW Marian Hossa scores the winner in a 3-2 victory over the Bruins.


MONDAY THREE PLAY
We go into today $50 on the right side of the balance sheet.

Islanders over Philadelphia - I'd love to be wrong about this game, but I can't see the Isles dropping this one. Lay $75 on the Islander - $240.

NY Rangers over Montreal - Last gasp for the Rangers tonight, plus we hate the Habs. Lay $75 on NY - $140.

Detroit over Chicago - Wings in a dogfight with Nashville. Lay $50 on the Wings - $225.
