Good Day In Europe

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Its been a while since we have looked at soccer - my bad. It was a relatively good day in Europe yesterday for Portuguese teams.

Sporting Lisbon walked into Munich and held heavily favoured Bayern to a 0-0 draw; from all reports Sporting had the best chances to score and probably should have won.

Chelsea, aka Portuguese National Team North, got a goal in injury time from Didier Drogba to tie Barcelona - Deco had opened the scoring for Barcelona.

Inter Milan won 1-0, keeping Luis Figo's Champions League hopes alive.

Benfica and F.C. Porto go today.

Its time for the idiots in Sens Army to push the panic button - the SenaTards lost again last night in Montreal. The Army keeps talking about how they will turn it around - I don't think so; this is NOT one of the best teams in the league anymore.

HAZEL'S THREE STARS
Didier Drogba of Chelsea scored the game tying goal in injury time to lift Portuguese National Team North to a tie in Barcelona.

David Aebischer of the Montreal Canadiens had another good game - this time stoning the SenaTards, and leading the Habs to a 4-1 win. Aebischer stopped 31 shots.

Steve Sullivan of the Predatords scored a goal and added an assists in leading Nashvilled to a 3-2 victory over the Canucks.


WEDNESDAY'S THREE PLAY
We went 3-0 last night as the Sharks, Islanders and Predators all won - that would have been a $100 night and left us at +279 (not bad huh?). DJames, I hope you are checking in buddy.

Dallas over St. Louis - The Blues are playing better than most expected - but the Stars are too. The Stars will be heavily favoured tonight, so I'll be cautious and lay $25 on the Stars -$275.

Atlanta over Carolina - The Thrashers are back home and last change in tonight's game should give them the advantage over the Hurricanes. Lay $25 on Atlanta -$145.

Calgary over Detroit - The Flames are awful right now, but sometimes going on the road is the best thing for a struggling team. Lay $25 on the Flames tonight in Detroit +$145.
