Sagres, Super Bock and Sandeman

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae.

Slow motion kind of morning after a night of Sagres, Super Bock and some Sandeman - that's what happens when you bring a bunch of porkchops together for a family gathering.

Stories that caught my eye today -

Chase Utley extended his hitting streak to 29 games - Ryan Howard hit his NL leading 34th HR, looks like Howard isn't suffering the same fate Bobby Abreu did after winning the HR Derby at the All-Star game. Almost makes you forget about Brett Myers...nah, not really.

David Ortiz showed once again why he is the best clutch hitter in all of baseball - cue balling a single to beat the shift and drive in the winning run against the Angels yesterday. Ortiz is one of the few players in baseball who is worth the price of admission.

Terrell Owens makes a good first impression as camp opens for the Dallas Cowboys. We've heard this one before - Cowboys fans across the world (yours truly included) hope that the Tuna can manage Terrell's ego.

That's about it for this morning...like I said, slow motion kind of day. Have a great one peeps.

HAZEL'S SUNDAY HOROSCOPE
Get any little jobs out of the way around home before you go out and have fun. Shopping for something obscure that you want will result in a conversation piece. Someone you are close to may not be happy with your purchase. 3 stars

Hazel, I hope things are groovy in your world.

Song of the Day on Hazelspeeps - with thoughts of the gathering last night...

I Got Loaded - Los Lobos

Peesth Out...Buh Bye!
