Jacksonville wins despite getting jobbed

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae if she is checking in.

Jacksonville won the game yesterday - but killed us in the suicide pool where they were favoured by 2.5. Yesterday's game was a prime example of horrible officiating being a deciding factor in the game. From phantom "down by contact" - even after official review - to ignoring face masking calls in the end zone to come up with a pass interference call (Hines Ward on Jacksonville defender). It sure looked like the officials were doing their best to drag the Steelers into the next round of the playoffs. It was awful to watch - but justice was served when Jacksonville drove the field for a last minute field goal - though we wanted the TD.

SUNDAY'S SUGGESTIONS

It was a night where officiating killed our picks - from the Jags game to the Rangers/Oilers - everyone was conspiring against the picks. After last night's games, the total stands at an ugly - $350. Today's picks

TAMPA BAY -3 over NY Giants - we've flip-flopped on this one. We started out the week liking the Giants, but something tells us that Eli Manning will be Eli Manning in a big game. We're going with Chuckie and the Bucs for $100.

SAN DIEGO -10.5 over Tennessee - the number is a little scary, but with Vince Young being less that 100% and the Titans Roydell White being out, we think San Diego goes up big early and coasts. Lay $100 on the Chargers.

Buffalo/Atlanta over 6 - both teams having issues with keeping the puck out of their net, this should be a shootout. Lay $100 on the over - $130.

That's it for today gang - enjoy your NFL Sunday. Thanks for taking the time to check in.

Hazel, we hope things are groovy in your world.

We're Out!
