Happy Birthday King

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in.  A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae. 

One of the all time great Leafs is celebrating a birthday today - a true pioneer in the NHL.  Salming paved the way for Europeans in the NHL - the Jackie Robinson of hockey.

Regular Season

1148 games played, 150 goals, 637 assists, 1344 penalty minutes

Playoffs 

81 games played, 12 goals, 37 assists, 91 penalty minutes

Salming was as talented and tough as anyone in the NHL - a favourite of Leaf Nation.
